After an intense search in Google Maps, I decided to go for the Obernachkanalfall, located North of Wallgau, along Road B11. The waterfall is not far from the road and can easily be accessed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the parking slot, it takes 3 minutes with only a few meters of altitude difference. Nevertheless, you should have decent footwear since you are in a mountainous environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During my visit, the waterfall carried sufficient water and provided excellent conditions for a long-exposure shot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Exposure, I used the following setting and filters on my Nikon D850:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aperture: f8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shutter: 540sec<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ISO: 31<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filter: 10stop ND Filter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, the camera was mounted on a tripod, and a cable release (MC-36) was attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"765\" height=\"557\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chrisrenk.com\/crp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Obernachkanal-Wasserfall-1-e1675588955235.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.chrisrenk.com\/crp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Obernachkanal-Wasserfall-1-e1675588955235.png 765w, https:\/\/blog.chrisrenk.com\/crp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Obernachkanal-Wasserfall-1-e1675588955235-300x218.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.chrisrenk.com\/crp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Obernachkanal-Wasserfall-1-e1675588955235-400x291.png 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This time, I visited the area around the Ammergau Alps to search for waterfalls, worth to be photographed.
