Initially, I wanted to portrait the different proportions of a hen egg and this little egg, but due to a missing white hen egg, I decided to push this motif to a later day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, I still had some pebbles leftover from a previous still life shoot which I used to provide a new background for the egg.<br>For the lighting, I used a LitraTorch again, mounted on a Manfrotto single arm mount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get the close up of the egg, I used my Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 VR2, mounted on my Gitzo Tripod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before I took the image, I did some research on what others have come up with, but haven&#8217;t seen any close up of an egg on eye level.
