To be more precise, a blood St. John&#8217;s wort, which I discovered during a trip to the local floodplains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What fascinated me most was the contrast between the redbuds and the bright yellow flowers. Although I took this photo in the midday sun, the contrast between the plant and the background was excellent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what I like most is the shadow of the flower stems on the petals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let me know what you like about this photo!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Day 114 of my 365 Photo Challenge.
