Beautiful Waterfalls of the Bavarian Alps, The Obernachkanalfall at Wallgau.

This time, I visited the area around the Ammergau Alps to search for waterfalls, worth to be photographed. After an intense search in Google Maps, I decided to go for the Obernachkanalfall, located North of Wallgau, along Road B11. The waterfall is not far from the road and can easily be accessed.

From the parking slot, it takes 3 minutes with only a few meters of altitude difference. Nevertheless, you should have decent footwear since you are in a mountainous environment.

During my visit, the waterfall carried sufficient water and provided excellent conditions for a long-exposure shot.

For the Exposure, I used the following setting and filters on my Nikon D850:

• Aperture: f8
• Shutter: 540sec
• ISO: 31
• Filter: 10stop ND Filter

Of course, the camera was mounted on a tripod, and a cable release (MC-36) was attached.
