Mountain Chairs

Day 119 of my 365 Photo Challenge.

Although the weather forecast for today was not pleasant, I started my next mountain tour, which led me along the Vorderer Brunnenkogel (2760 meters), the Rotkogel (2894 meters), the Wilde Rötespitze (2966 meters) to the Timmelsjoch (2472 meters).

Close to the Timmelsjoch, I discovered two chairs, on a ridge near the station. The rising rain clouds had almost completely enveloped the peak. Only these two chairs were still free on the rim, which I had to photograph of course!

The only slightly visible mountain range in the background adds to the surreal atmosphere.
