The perfect postcard motif

Sometimes you arrive at a scenic spot, and all the components of a perfect image fall together. I took this image of Ehrwalder Lake en route to the Coburger Mountain Cabin, located in the Zugspitz mountain range. It was a perfect day, clear sky, temperature relatively moderate, and not too many people present.

Glad that I took my sturdy tripod with me. So I was able to get a decent depth of field at the end.

Sometimes I do get to places just when God’s ready to have somebody click the shutter.
