Today I decided to go into Astronomy photography. Since there was the occurrence of a Full Moon (or called supermoon), which will not be seen again before 5 November 2025, I had to take this opportunity!

For the first time, I used a 500mm Tele-Photo Lens, and I am surprised by the details and resolution of the moon, especially the details of the crates, the mountains, and the plateaus.

To expose the moon in the right way, I employed the sunny 8 rule, using as an aperture F8 and 1/250 s for the shutter speed.

The ISO I set to „Auto-Mode“, leaving me with an ISO of 200.
For the White Balance, I used the auto-mode and adjusted the settings in DXO’s Color Efex Pro.
