Papaver rhoeas – Before, and after!

Day 88 of my 365 Photo Challenge.

It’s been some time since I posted a photo of poppies.

Until now, I had only photographed completely developed flowers.

In this picture, I was lucky to capture the flower bud and the open flower together in one image.

To make the bud and the flower stand out from the background, I photographed against the setting sun.
