Domed Ceiling

Day 92 of my 365 Photo Challenge.

Today I visited Berlin, the capital of Germany. The arrival was by train, which took 5 hours. Immediately after I checked into the hotel, I started looking for motives.

The first photo motif I found in the „Galeria Kaufhof“ at Alexanderplatz. This has a ceiling construction in the form of a dome.

Because of the intense sunlight and the position of the dome, it was not easy to find the right angle for symmetric photo composition.

But as so often, persistence always pays off.

And so I was able to capture this image.
