Alcedo atthis – Just a little Rest

Day 127 of my 365 Photo Challenge. After almost 3 weeks without internet access, I can now continue publishing my photos for my 365 Photo Challenge. Today’s picture shows a kingfisher, which I was able to photograph in the nature reserve „Wallnau“ on the island of Fehmarn. The little comrade used one of the water level poles for an extended rest. Obviously one of his daily routine on his forays through his territory. Hope you like the little one!
