Araneus diadematus – Awaiting lunch to arrive

Day 128 of my 365 Photo Challenge.
Today’s photo shows the garden cross spider, which I discovered during my renewed visit to the Wallnau reserve of the German Nature Conservation Association along a circular path.
The cross spider was enthroned in the middle of the web and had a considerable size. Fortunately, spiders in Germany are known to be harmless to humans.
Anyway, I was very impressed by it!
