Tomcat Charlie

Day 23 of my 365 Photo Challenge.

Due to the lousy weather (finally, it is raining!), I had to divert to an indoor motif. Luckily, I have two Maine Coons at home, who sometimes are willing to pose for me. On that day, I caught my Tomcat Charlie in the perfect position.

The backlight from the window provided a marvellous rim light separating him from the dark background. The only thing I had to do was to expose for the shadow, ensuring no overblow in the highlights. And ready was the perfect portrait of him!

Just for your info, I used my D850 and again my Nikkor 50mm F1.4.
